OVERVIEW

Aurora 6.5.1 is now released and posted to the Public ftp site.

This includes: Aurora Edit, Aurora Ingest, Aurora Playout, Aurora Browse and Aurora LD and Conform Server.

DESCRIPTION

*As always please READ the Release Notes and Install guides before attempting any installation.

Note that the 6.5.1 release has increased memory requirements for some of the hardware used in previous versions of Aurora. These new requirements can be found in the Release Notes and Install docs, so it is very important to read these documents before attempting to upgrade any system to 6.5.1

There is also some hardware, like the original P4 2.4Gh NewsEdit system, that will NOT run Aurora Edit 6.5.1, so these cannot be upgraded beyond 6.3. Again, the aforementioned docs contain the information needed in to order to know what hardware requirements must be met.
