Indigo software upgrade

Your INDIGO AV Mixer software resides on a Compact Flash card found on the right side of your panel.

Please remember to backup your application files to a USB stick before starting an upgrade.

NOTE: We recommend using a new Compact Flash card for upgrades and saving your original CF card as a backup.

1. Download Indigo software to a PC equipped with a Compact Flash card reader.
2. Make sure your INDIGO AV Mixer is turned off then open the slot at the right side of the Panel and remove the flash card.
3. Take the flash card to the PC and start the software installation .EXE tool. Follow the instructions to save the new software to your CF card.
4. Insert the CF card containing the new software into your panel. CAUTION: Do not insert the CF card below the mainboard.
5. Close the slot.
6. Turn on the INDIGO AV Mixer and test the upgrade.

Note: NEW in version 1.2.4 software is a "Flat mode" of operation. Please view the V1.2.2 Release Notes and

the "New Flat modes.pdf" file in the V124 download folder for information on this feature.

Note: NEW in version 1.2.11 software are more supported graphics standards for the HiRes inputs.

This requires an additional step after upgrading the Indigo CF card with new software.

Not doing this update step does not cause harm to the unit. It can be done at any time.

Upgrade Procedure:

Connect 2 DVI cables, looping from the Indigo DVI outputs to the Indigo DVI inputs,

and then power cycle the unit. As soon as the Indigo Menu appears the update process

is finished. This will only take a few moments.
