KVBC Expands HD Newscasts to the Field with 18 Thomson Grass Valley Infinity Camcorders

 

Sunbelt Communications' Las Vegas NBC Affiliate Produces 35 Hours of HD News Coverage Each Week with the DMC 1000 Digital Media Camcorder

 

Paris, France/Nevada City, California, February 12, 2008 —Valley Broadcasting Company's KVBC in Las Vegas, a Sunbelt Communications Company subsidiary, has expanded the production of its high-definition (HD) newscasts with an order for 18 Thomson Grass Valley™ Infinity™ Digital Media Camcorders from Thomson (Euronext Paris: 18453; NYSE: TMS).

The Infinity camcorders are being used as part of KVBC's true file-based news acquisition workflow which includes REV PRO Removable Media, USB REV PRO Digital Media Drives, and EDIUS® nonlinear editing workstations.
