Grass Valley Highlights Latest HD Workflow Innovations at Brazil's Broadcast & Cable Show

San Francisco, Calif., August 02, 2011 — At the upcoming 2011 Broadcast & Cable Show in Brazil, Grass Valley™ , the Premier Video Technology Solutions Company (Booth# D16/E2), will demonstrate the IT-centric benefits of a file-based workflow across the majority of its multiformat-capable product lines.

This includes the company's latest editing, servers, routers, cameras, and asset and resource management technologies and systems — in many applications working in tandem with third-party products to streamline content creation processes and make customers more productive.

The 2011 Broadcast & Cable Show takes place August 23-25, at the Centro de Exposições Imigrantes, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Grass Valley technology experts will also present a number of technical papers and participate in panel discussions during the three-day gathering of broadcasters and video production professionals from throughout the Latin American region.

Across its two exhibit booths, Grass Valley will demonstrate a variety of new features and functionality. The Aurora™ platform will be shown working seamlessly with an ENPS newsroom computer system. Attendees can get hands-on with EDIUS® 6.0 software packages editing HD clips from a Grass Valley T2™ iDDR, as well as The K2 Summit™ media server working with the K2 Dyno™ Replay System and K2 Dyno Production Assistant (PA) software.

Also on display will be the new Grass Valley STRATUS™ Media Workflow Application Framework, which supports every part of the content creation and distribution lifecycle, the Kayenne™ XL Video Production Switcher, the LDK 8000 Elite and LDK 3000 multiformat HD cameras, the Ignite™ integrated production system, and the MediaFUSE® IP-based Automated Content Re-purposing and Multi-distribution System.

Grass Valley will also demonstrate its new integrated multiviewer display for the Trinix™ NXT router.
