December 13, 2011 — Australia's Nine Network has taken delivery of its third Grass Valley™ Kayenne™ Video Production Center to support a refurbishment of its high-definition (HD) production studio in Sydney. In 2011, Grass Valley engineers completed systems integration of Nine Network's relocated Melbourne studios to a new facility in the Docklands district, providing system design and integration expertise to install a full complement of legacy and new third-party HD production equipment. The Melbourne project included the installation of two 2.5 M/E Kayenne™ systems inside dual HD control rooms.

The order was won by Hannu Pro, the Grass Valley distributor in the Baltics, against stiff competition from other vendors which offered low-priced entry level cameras, but failed to match up to the quality and reliability of the LDK 3000.
