Amsterdam, The Netherlands (IBC Stand 1.D11), September 10, 2009 Dahlia TV, a digital terrestrial pay-TV service owned by AirPlus TV Group (based in Sweden), has developed an end-to-end SD content distribution platform for subscribers in Italy based on Grass Valley routers, master control and branding systems, and video servers. The new service, which includes live and pre-taped sports and lifestyle programming, was launched earlier this year and is now available in 85 percent of Italian homes.

Paris, France/Nevada City, Calif. May 20, 2009 Brazil's Empresa Paulista de Televisão (EPTV) continues its more than 10 year history in investing in Grass Valley technology, this time for its conversion to digital and high-definition operations, with the recent purchase of new equipment and systems at two of its TV GLOBO-affiliated broadcast and playout facilities. One of the stations, EPTV Campinas, will be on the air in August of this year with new Grass Valley HD production equipment to be used to produce its daily newscasts and talk shows.

Las Vegas (National Association of Broadcasters Convention Booth# SL106) April 18, 2009 Multimedia Group, a leading FM radio broadcaster in Ghana, has ordered a Grass Valley playout system to support its plan to launch a series of television channels. The first phase system includes five Grass Valley K2 media servers to support a single broadcast channel and six satellite TV channels. The system is capable of further expansion to meet the needs of additional channels in the future.

Las Vegas (National Association of Broadcasters Convention Booth# SL106) April 18, 2009 Arabian Gulf sports broadcaster Al-Kass, the Qatari League Channel, is preparing for high-definition (HD) transmission using Grass Valley equipment. The new order is for an HD playout infrastructure, based around K2 media servers and includes routing and infrastructure equipment, which will be installed by local systems integration partner Salam Mediacast.

Las Vegas (National Association of Broadcasters Convention Booth# SL106) April 18, 2009 French broadcaster TF1 is continuing to migrate the master control and content distribution capabilities at its all-digital broadcast center in Boulogne Billancourt (near Paris) to high-definition (HD) with a significant new purchase of Grass Valley HD technology. Grass Valley is also providing engineering and maintenance services as part of the multi-year agreement.

Paris, France/Nevada City, Calif., April 1, 2009 Huzur Radyo TV (Fox TV Turkey), an affiliate of News Corporation Europe, will go on air with a multi-million euro tapeless news, production, and playout system implemented by Grass Valley. As well as providing systems integration for the new broadcast center in Istanbul, Grass Valley also supplied cameras, servers, and infrastructure products.

Paris, France/Nevada City, Calif., March 12, 2009 Grass Valley has won a substantial contract to modernize the television infrastructure of la Tévision Tunisienne (TT), the public broadcaster in Tunisia. The prime contract was awarded to Sumitomo Corporation (the Company), a leading general trading company, boasting 150 locations in 70 countries throughout the world.

Paris, France/Nevada City, Calif., February 19, 2009 For the past year, Grass Valley has been working with TV Cultura, a publicly funded broadcast network located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to migrate its main broadcast and production facility to a file-based, digital, and high-definition (HD) production infrastructure. The project was initiated to comply with the country's government mandate to begin broadcasting digitally in 2008.
