This brings the number of Ignite systems to 22 in 16 locations within the Australia/New Zealand region.

This new purchase adds to the ABC network's existing Grass Valley technologies, which includes Aurora™ digital news editing products for content creation as well as Grass Valley Ignite™ HD systems in other locations.

Las Vegas (National Association of Broadcasters Convention – Booth# SL106) April 10, 2010 — Media General, owner of 18 network-affiliated television stations across the southeastern U.S., will upgrade the newscasts at three of its standard-definition broadcast properties to the latest version of the Grass Valley™ Ignite™ high-definition integrated production system – bringing the total number of Ignite systems installed at Media General stations to 13. The comprehensive file-based system will facilitate a high degree of production control and efficiency at the stations and improve their on-air look.
