Amsterdam, The Netherlands (IBC — Stand 1.D11), September 08, 2011Grass Valley™ has signed a comprehensive Service Level Agreement (SLA) with MediaHub Australia Pty Ltd., to manage and service MediaHub's new digital, high-definition multi-client, multi-channel digital play-out facility in Sydney. The highly sophisticated and totally file-based facility, which features Grass Valley technologies and systems for high reliability and efficiency, was officially opened in June 2010 and is a joint venture between the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and WIN Television Networks (WIN).

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (IBC — Stand 1.D11), September 08, 2011 — Multimedios TV and Milenio TV, the third largest network in Mexico, has upgraded its studio and news production operations with a full complement of multiformat, file-based equipment from Grass Valley™. The new systems, being implemented with existing Grass Valley and other third-party technology, are being installed at the network's two production and playout facilities in Monterrey and Mexico City.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (IBC — Stand 1.D11), September 08, 2011 — Brazil's Emissoras Pioneiras de Televisão (EPTV), an affiliate of the TV Globo Network covering the São Paulo State and Minas Gerais State regions, has expanded its live sports and studio production capabilities with the recent purchase of a significant quantity of high-definition production equipment and systems from Grass Valley™. The broadcaster has also entered into a multi-year Service Level Agreement to protect the equipment and ensure continued support.

San Francisco, Calif., August 16, 2011Grass Valley™ will exhibit its latest technologies and systems that help streamline file-based production and post workflows for attendees of the 2011 BIRTV Conference, to be held August 24-27, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China. This includes the company's most advanced multiformat high-definition cameras, production switchers, editing software, servers, master control, routers, and resource management and content repurposing platforms.

The new studio gives the Baluan Sholak Sport Palace, in the Kazakhstan former capital of Almaty, unprecedented facilities and the ability to manage its own productions without the need to bring in outside contractors.

Las Vegas (National Association of Broadcasters Convention – Booth# SL106) April 9, 2011 — Rede Record, Brazil's second-largest television network, continues its commitment to Grass Valley™ technologies with the newly announced upgrade of its Record TV news production facilities in São Paulo, referred to as "Technical Central" to high-definition (HD) production capability. Last fall, the network successfully went on-air with a fully networked Grass Valley Aurora™ HD news editing and production platform as well as new production switchers, and has now returned to purchase new Grass Valley HD production switchers, routers, and signal processing gear.
