Hillsboro, Ore., December 16, 2013 — NEP, a leading provider of mobile and fixed broadcast facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom, has purchased 26 Grass Valley® K-Frame™ modular video processing engines to be used with Kayenne® and Karrera® Video Production Centers to upgrade more than 30 of its outside broadcasting (OB) trucks across their fleet. NEP will take delivery of the K-Frames over the next three years, through to 2016.

WRN Broadcast has migrated 20 CSC Media Group channels, including Buzmuzik, True Drama, True Movies and Pop on Sky, using the GV Edge system.

Hillsboro, Ore., September 10, 2013 — MLB Network, Major League Baseball's 24/7 cable TV network, will install Grass Valley's® GV STRATUS® nonlinear media production tools into its production center, which distributes baseball content to approximately 70 million homes. In a highly competitive bidding process, Grass Valley was selected by MLB Network to help the network maximize efficiencies and streamline workflows. Grass Valley has worked with MLB Network since its launch in 2009 and has already installed multiple Grass Valley K2 HD media servers and most recently in 2012, a second Kayenne® Video Production Center switcher. The project is expected to be complete in 2014.

The new versions of K2 Summit and K2 Solo will be available August 2013, with software upgrades available for models sold within the past year. Older versions of K2 Summit are field-upgradable.
