Grass Valley Strengthens LATAM Sales Team
San Francisco, Calif., June 20, 2013 — To continue serving its Latin American customers and foster new opportunities within the region, Grass Valley® is building upon the momentum it has already gained in the Latin American market by strengthening its sales force in Brazil with new additions to the team. This follows a 2012 re-structuring of the Miami office, which is responsible for the north and south regions of Latin America, as well as Central America and the Caribbean.

Grass Valley has re-structured its sales team in Brazil, beginning with the appointment of Felipe Andrade to Regional Sales Manager. Andrade will oversee sales and work closely with a newly appointed sales team in the region, which includes three new hires. Each new appointee brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to their respective position, enabling the company to remain strong in a growing market.
Alberto Santana has joined Grass Valley as the new Channel Sales Manager, where he will lead the channel sales business and help establish partnerships with resellers. Santana held a successful sales position with Sony for many years. Cristiano Barbieri serves as Grass Valley's new Account Executive, with a direct focus on customer sales. Barbieri was formerly with Harris Corporation. Guilherme Duarte has been appointed Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting a variety of sales opportunities within the country. Guilherme is a former pre-sales specialist at Projects Broadcast, where he garnered extensive experience in both pre-sales and field service. The new staff members will report to Andrade.
