Grass Valley Appoints Adolfo Rodriguez as Director, Server Product Management

• Responsible for driving growth and product development in the company's Service Delivery Platform (SDP) business
• Brings 30 years of experience in media server technology and video workflows

Hillsboro, Ore., October 9, 2013Grass Valley® today announced the appointment of Adolfo Rodriguez as Director of Server Product Management, effective October 7, 2013. Rodriguez will assume responsibility for Grass Valley's growing broadcast and media server business. Rodriguez brings 30 years of industry expertise in broadcast and video workflows, media server technology, and file-based workflows to Grass Valley.

Rodriguez joins Grass Valley from Harmonic, Inc., where he spent the last three years as Director of Technical Marketing until 2012 when he became Director of Solutions Engineering. Prior to that, he held the post of Director, Technical Marketing at OMNEON Video Networks. Rodriguez has also held positions with Snell (formerly Snell & Wilcox) and Tektronix.

Rodriguez holds a BSEE from the University of Portland and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
