Hillsboro, Ore., March 6, 2014 — The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in Saudi Arabia is installing a completely new Educational Broadcast Studio with high definition (HD) camera, switcher, and router technology from Grass Valley®. This announcement builds upon an existing relationship that began last year when Grass Valley supplied MOHE with an end-to-end workflow solution for the Ministry's first outside broadcasting (OB) van. For equipment implementation into its studio, MOHE will be working with regional system integrator First Gulf Company (FGC).

In 2012, Grass Valley® equipped the broadcaster with 24 LDK 8000 Elite 3G Transmission triax camera systems, 14 LDX Flex™ cameras and four Karrera® Video Production Centers for TTC Ostankino to kick-start its migration to HD.

Complete with cameras, servers, switchers, and broadcast infrastructure solutions, the new van will enable MOHE to deliver the highest quality coverage of live events from across the region. For equipment implementation, MOHE will be working with regional system integrator First Gulf Company (FGC).

Hillsboro, Ore., September 12, 2013 — Grass Valley® today announced that British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), the largest pay TV broadcaster in the UK and Ireland with more than 10 million subscribers, has gone live with the Grass Valley Ignite® Automated Production System to provide Sports Bulletins into its Sky News channel. The Ignite HD scalable solution integrates with BSkyB's existing Grass Valley production solutions, including two LDK 8000 cameras and a Karrera® Video Production Center switcher, as well as additional third-party technologies.
