Hillsboro, Ore., March 11, 2014 — Turkish satellite television provider Digiturk will be expanding its broadcast facility and improving its current infrastructure with the addition of a new Grass Valley® Trinix® NXT 192x192 Digital Video Routing Switcher, a new Apex Plus 384x384 Digital Audio Routing Switcher, a Maestro™ Scalable Master Control system, and a Jupiter™ Routing Switcher Control, to quickly and efficiently deliver programming to its satellite platform.

Hillsboro, Ore., December 9, 2013 — WRN Broadcast, the UK-based global managed services company, has installed Grass Valley's® GV Edge™ integrated playout system with K2 Edge playout nodes to effectively deliver and manage content from CSC Media Group, one of the largest UK-based satellite television channel providers. WRN Broadcast has migrated 20 CSC Media Group channels, including Buzmuzik, True Drama, True Movies and Pop on Sky, using the GV Edge system.

The upgrade will take place without any interruption to the station's current playout channels.

San Francisco, Calif., August 27, 2013 — Canal9, based in Sierre, Switzerland, has selected several Grass Valley® solutions to enable its transition from SD to HD services. Grass Valley has supplied a K2 Summit® production client with a K2 SAN server configuration, the GV STRATUS® application framework for nonlinear production including EDIUS® editing capabilities, and GV Edge™ integrated playout system. Canal9 has signed a 5-year agreement with Grass Valley.
