GeckoFlex 7600REF Reference and Test Signal Generator

The 7600REF reference and test signal generator is a high-stability standalone 1 RU unit for providing system timing. It has a complete set of reference signals, including a master Genlock reference loop-through input. It can be used in either master or slave roles. A powerful feature is timecode generation, as well as a complete set of reference signals, allowing for a very compact timing solution. Reliability is a top feature of the 7600REF with dual-redundant power supplies and the ability to interface to the 7620PX changeover unit for backup.

For versatility, the 7600REF has no less than five individually timed analog black and burst reference outputs. In addition, three SDI feeds provide individual test signals, including full-field signals where each can be separately configured. A full set of audio test signals are provided with analog audio available as well as unbalanced AES and embedded audio outputs.

The 7600HD option provides for an additional four Tri-level sync outputs and a full set of HD test signals.

The timecode generator options allow for a versatile solution to timecode. Longitudinal and vertical interval timecode LTC and VITC can be output.

The 7600REF can act as an NTP server ensuring IT-based units keep in step with the broadcast infrastructure. The time generated can be set from GPS satellites through the 7600GPS option. This makes the 7600REF an ideal unit for OB operation.
