Offering the same features and functionality of the 8901 utility DA, this module adds cable equalization to accurately compensate for attenuation and phase errors induced from long cable runs. Additionally, the DC restoration mode can be used to smoothly restore the DC component during blanking level to zero volts. This DC restoration circuit functions with or without synchronization pulses so it can be used with RGB or YUV signals that do not contain synchronization pulses. Our entire line of both analog and digital distribution amplifiers offer differential loop-through inputs designed to remove common mode hum induced by cable runs adjacent to AC mains cables.
