GeckoFlex 8906 Distribution Amplifier

This distribution amplifier offers all the features and functionality of our 8901 utility DA and our 8902 equalizing DA, plus a dual-speed clamp and video presence detection with SNMP trap generation. While all Grass Valley™ distribution amplifiers remove differential or common mode hum induced by cable runs adjacent to AC mains cables, this module offers a dual-speed self-clamping circuit to handle single-ended hum caused by grounded coaxial cable shields. Additionally, a White Clipper circuit eliminates impulse noise above a user-selectable threshold. And the user-enabled video presence detection feature generates SNMP traps that can be sent to our NetCentral™ SNMP manager or other SNMP systems for mission-critical applications.
