GeckoFlex 8943RDA 3G/HD/SD Reclocking Distribution Amplifier

The 8943RDA is an HD/SD/3G-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier with one electrical input feeding eight reclocked electrical outputs. The board is completely DVB ASI compliant.

This board can distribute HD/3G-SDI or SD-SDI, making it ideal for mixed-format applications or installations where an upgrade to HD/3G is planned. Cable equalization is up to 90 meters for HD/3G-SDI and 440 meters for SD-SDI.

All parameters can be configured directly from the card edge or via a standard HTML web browser when the 8900NET Network Interface board has been installed. The board operation and configuration, as well as the signal presence and format, can be monitored using industry standard SNMP protocol via the 8900NET board.

GV STRATUS is being used in tandem with EDIUS® multiformat nonlinear editing software and GV Edge™ Integrated Playout System with K2 Edge™ playout nodes for 24/7 playout.
