GeckoFlex 8943RDA SD/HD/3G Reclocking Distribution Amplifier

The 8943RDA is an SD/HD/3G-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier with one electrical input feeding eight reclocked electrical outputs. The module is completely DVB ASI compliant. This module can distribute HD/3G-SDI or SD-SDI, making it ideal for mixed format applications or installations where an upgrade to HD/3G is planned. Cable equalization is up to 100 meters for HD/3G-SDI and 440 meters for SD-SDI.

All parameters can be configured directly from the card edge or via a standard HTML web browser when the 8900NET (Net Card) Network Interface module has been installed.

Module operation and configuration, as well as the signal presence and format, can be monitored using industry standard SNMP protocol via the 8900NET (Net Card) module.

  • Reclocking SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI distribution amplifier
  • Auto or manual input format selection
  • Supports rates up to 1080p
  • Single 1x8 DA
  • 100% DVB ASI compliant
  • High density (up to ten 1x8 DAs per 2 rack unit)
  • Remote control and monitoring via Ethernet frame interface
  • Distributing HD/3G signals or mixed HD/3G and SD format installations
  • Installations where an SD to HD/3G update is planned
  • Installations where highest density is required at the lowest cost of outputs
