GeckoFlex 8943RDA-DFR Fiber-Ready SD/HD/3G Reclocking Distribution Amplifier

The GeckoFlex 8943RDA-DFR unit is a reclocking distribution amplifier with two dedicated electrical inputs and seven reclocked electrical outputs (in four output pairs). An optional fiber optic submodule can be installed to provide additional fiber optic inputs and outputs.

The module can distribute HD/3G-SDI or SD-SDI streams, making it ideal for mixed format applications, installations where an upgrade to HD/3G is planned, or a combination of HD/3G, SD, or ASI distribution. The fiber option makes it ideal for receiving signals from distant downlinks or transmitting to remote uplinks.

  • Return loss: HD >15 dB up to 1.5 Gb/s, >10 dB up to 3 Gb/s
  • Signal level: 800 mV ±10%
  • Output jitter (for inputs conforming to SMPTE 259M and 292M standards):
    • <0.2 UI >100 kHz for 3G
    • <0.2 UI >100 kHz for HD
    • <1.0 UI 10 Hz – 100 kHz for HD
    • <0.2 UI 10 Hz – up for SD
