GeckoFlex 8945EDA-D Dual HD/SD Equalizing Distribution Amplifier

The 8945EDA-D board is a dual HD/SD equalizing distribution amplifier. It provides four outputs for each of its two inputs and can equalize up to 125 meters of Belden 1694A cable for HD-SDI. It can be used to distribute either SD-SDI or HD-SDI, making it ideal for mixed-format applications or installations where an upgrade is planned.

  • Dual SD-SDI or HD-SDI equalizing distribution amplifier
  • Single 1x8 or dual and configurable 1x4 models
  • 100% DVB ASI compliant
  • High density (up to 10 1x4 distribution amplifiers per rack unit)
  • Equalizer bypass for low bit-rate signals
  • Remote control and monitoring via Ethernet chassis interface
  • Distributing stable HD signals or HD/SD in rate-agile installations
  • Installations that will upgrade to HD
  • Optimizing density and cost
  • Distribution of non-standard wideband signals
