GeckoFlex 8947RDA-D Dual HD/SD Reclocking Distribution Amplifier

The 8947RDA-D is a dual HD/SD re-clocking distribution amplifier, with automatic format detection. It provides four to eight reclocked outputs for each of its two inputs and can equalize up to 125 meters of Belden 1694A cable for HD-SDI. It can be used to distribute either HD-SDI or SD-SDI making it ideal for mixed format applications or installations where an upgrade is planned.

All parameters can be configured directly from the card edge or via standard HTML web browser if a network interface board has been installed. The board operation and configuration as well as the signal presence and format can be monitored using industry-standard SNMP protocol via the network interface board.

  • Dual SD-SDI or HD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier
  • Automatic input-format detection
  • Single 1x8 or dual and configurable 1x4 models
  • 100% DVB ASI compliant
  • High density (10 1x4 distribution amplifiers per rack unit)
  • Equalizer bypass for low bit-rate signals
  • Remote control and monitoring via Ethernet chassis interface
  • Distributing HD signals or HD/SD in rate-agile installations
  • Installations that will upgrade to HD
  • Optimizing density and cost
  • Optimizing trade-offs between the number of modules and outputs
