GeckoFlex 8947RDA-FR Dual HD/SD Reclocking Distribution Amplifier Fiber-Ready

The 8947RDA-FR is an HD/SD reclocking distribution amplifier, with automatic format detection. It provides eight reclocked outputs and can equalize up to 125 meters of Belden 1694A cable for HD-SDI. It can be used to distribute either HD-SDI or SD-SDI signals, making it ideal for mixed-format applications or installations where an upgrade is planned.

Supporting up to two fiber connections, this module is ready for either fiber-in or fiber-out applications. It can also distribute eight non-inverted DVB ASI outputs, making it ideal for receiving signals from distant downlinks or transmitting to remote uplinks.

  • Eight-output SD-SDI or HD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier
  • Fiber-ready architecture supports up to two optional connections
    • 100% DVB ASI compliant
    • High connectivity density: eight coaxial outputs and fiber option
  • Remote control and monitoring via Ethernet chassis interface
  • Distributing HD signals or HD/SD in rate-agile installations
  • Installations that will upgrade to HD
  • Combining SD, HD, or ASI distribution with long-distance, isolating fiber connection
  • As a fiber receiver or transmitter in single-channel-per-board applications
