GeckoFlex 8964FS 4-Channel SD to SD Frame Synchronizer

The 8964FS provides a very compact and efficient alternative to the 8981FS by providing four complete SDI frame synchronizers. Using the latest technology enables the 8964FS to achieve unsurpassed density, providing 40 full featured frame synchronizers in just 2 RU. This board can also operate in a fixed delay mode with no reference required. In either mode, the output can be phased relative to input or reference up to one frame in increments of 37 ns. All adjustments can be performed on the board's card-edge controls. The on-screen display capability greatly simplifies card-edge configuration.

At the core of the broadcaster's new structure is GV STRATUS® nonlinear media production tools for enhanced production and a streamlined workflow. GV STRATUS is being used in tandem with EDIUS® multiformat nonlinear editing software and GV Edge™ Integrated Playout System with K2 Edge™ playout nodes for 24/7 playout. This deal with Bank TV builds upon the recent momentum generated by Grass Valley in the Ukrainian broadcast market as well as traction gained by GV STRATUS in the EMEA region.
