Network Shared Editing Option For EDIUS 6

EDIUS® SimulCapture™ is optional software from Grass Valley™ specifically designed for EDIUS v6.03 or later that enables multiple EDIUS clients to edit live video, simultaneously ingested by another EDIUS client, in a network editing environment.

Files can be edited immediately while being ingested, and editors can register clips in the Bin window, as well as edit the clips, without having to wait for other clients to finish editing.

Key Features

All EDIUS clients on the network can access and edit a growing file
Supported file formats include MXF (MPEG-2, AVC-Intra 50/100, DVCPRO 25/50/HD, HQ/HQX) or AVI (HQ/HQX/uncompressed/lossless/DV)
Clip markers, such as Addition, Deletion, and Comment Edit can be added to the clip during capture/ingest
Simultaneous editing and marker information is available, even while the file is being read by other EDIUS clients
A single license is necessary for the EDIUS client used for capture/ingest, but other EDIUS editing clients do not require the license (USB key)
