The all new Grass Valley™ Ignite™ Katalyst™ programmable automation panel is designed to provide an Ignite user with an ergonomic and flexible fast-access hardware control system that works in perfect harmony with Ignite's automated production automation. Ignite is the easiest live production automation system available, and the Katalyst panel—which provides quick access to just the functions that the director needs at any point—is a key aspect of Ignite's fluid, orchestrated ability to produce scripted and non-scripted programming.

Katalyst can trigger simple or complex functions, including manual CG and keyer controls, GPI triggers, and latebreaking news events, and its motorized faders correspond to Ignite's audio controls.

Built on the same award-winning technology as Grass Valley's Kayenne™ switcher, Katalyst offers a flexible configuration of single bays with audio faders or programmable hot-keys, or double and triple bays with combinations to suit any control room configuration.

Simultaneously, Katalyst is also a dynamic audio panel, a live event hot-key controller, and a unified user control system—all in a package that can be configured to match the subtleties of the users and their environments.
