Meeting the increasing demands of play-to-air environments just took a twist. Grass Valley® K2 Summit® Transmission servers provide high-capacity storage for standalone or distributed playout workflows.

Playout that puts you in pole position: Rev up your engine and get ready to playout up to four channels at once, at bit rates of up to 100 Mb/s. Supporting MPEG-2 and DV formats, K2 Summit is a high-quality transmission server. As a standalone server it comes with eight 2 TB SAS drives. As a shared storage client, it can connect directly to a K2 SAN configuration. The checkered flag is yours for the taking.

Discover convenient configuration: With the K2 Summit Transmission server there's no need for pit stops. Models can support SD or HD/SD with up to four channels, implemented as two bidirectional and two playout-only channels. If you want more configuration options to give you greater control, you've got them. Yomiuri TV Upgrades Workflow to Complete File-Based Solution from Grass Valley
