LDX 3X & 6X High Frame Rate Cameras
When Speed Matters

LDX HiSpeed™ & LDX Compact HiSpeed™ 3X Super Slow-Motion Cameras
The LDX HiSpeed (LDX HS™) camera is the perfect solution for live sports and entertainment productions. The direct successor of the LDK 8300 Super SloMo camera, LDX HS offers up to 3X speed operation in 1080i and 720p, with an additional 1X standard-speed "live" output for seamless integration with standard-speed cameras used in a production. LDX HS also includes AnyLightXtreme™ for flicker-free images when used with artificial lighting.

For confined spaces, the LDX Compact HiSpeed (LDX Compact HS™) camera provides identical performance to the LDX HS (except for AnyLightXtreme) in a small package.

Both the LDX HS and LDX Compact HS are software upgradable via GV-eLicenses to the LDX XtremeSpeed™ and LDX Compact XtremeSpeed™ cameras, respectively.

LDX XtremeSpeed & LDX Compact XtremeSpeed 6X Ultra Slow-Motion Cameras
The LDX XtremeSpeed (LDX XS™) camera offers a lot of firsts: the first handheld ultra slow-motion camera, the first to deliver instant time-to-air with no internal camera storage requirement, and the first ultra slow-motion camera to integrate seamlessly into live workflows with higher than 3X speeds. Delivering AnyLightXtreme flicker-free images in speeds up to 6X operation in 1080i and 720p, plus 3X speed operation in 1080p, the LDX XS is the perfect addition for super slow-motion and ultra slow-motion applications, with an additional 1X standard-speed "live" output.

For confined spaces, the LDX Compact XtremeSpeed (LDX Compact XS™) camera provides identical performance to the LDX XS (except for AnyLightXtreme) in a small package.

Using GV-eLicenses, both the LDX XS and LDX Compact XS cameras are software upgradable from the LDX HS and LDX Compact HS cameras, respectively.

AnySpeed...Anytime...For Perfect Replay
All LDX high-speed cameras work in tandem with the Grass Valley® K2 Dyno® Replay System and K2 Summit® 3G Production Client, and include optimized K2 Dyno AnySpeed™ technology which provides for smooth playback at any speed from 0% to 200%, dramatically expanding the ability to tell a compelling story during replays.

Service and Support
Grass Valley is about satisfied customers. That's why we provide 24/7/365 support and service—protecting your investments and keeping you on air.

  • The LDX HiSpeed is the newest generation camera for 3X speed applications with improved performance. It is also the first 3X speed camera system to offer an upgrade path to an ultra slow-motion camera system via GV-eLicenses.
  • The LDX XtremeSpeed 6X camera system sets a new standard for ultra slow-motion image acquisition by introducing a workflow with instant time-to-air without a cumbersome double-action memory buffer in the camera—so that not a single moment of the action will be missed or lost.
  • Both cameras offer a live 1X standard-speed output in addition to the high-speed output.
  • Both cameras offer the highest sensitivity and image performance across all of the different acquisition speeds, and the unique AnyLightXtreme™ flicker reduction system assure that no more irritating light flickering occurs in the replays.
  • Grass Valley LDX HiSpeed and LDX XtremeSpeed cameras are fully integrated with all the LDX Series of cameras, so they share the same camera accessories and use the same camera control system, which also includes the full support of the Connect Gateway for the best possible integration into external control systems.
