Taking full advantage of all the features of the LDX Compact™ series, RS-LDX™ integrated robotic camera solutions are fully integrated, turnkey camera systems combined with robotics and various options, enabling complete customization in one easy-to-use package...right out of the box. RS-LDX integrated robotic camera systems are ideal solutions for applications in which a high-quality, compact form factor, HD camera with a fully integrated remote control system is desired.

As part of the LDX range, RS-LDX cameras are also perfect for picture matching, and are available in three acquisition configurations:
RS-LDX Première™ (switchable 1080i50/59.94 and 720p50/59.94).
RS-LDX Elite™ (switchable 1080PsF23.98/24/25/29.97 (artistic), 1080i50/59.94, and 720p50/59.94), with an optional RGB 4:4:4 1080i output available.
RS-LDX WorldCam™ (switchable 1080p50/59.94 (3G), 1080PsF23.98/24/25/29.97 (artistic), 1080i50/59.94, and 720p50/59.94), including RGB 4:4:4 1080i output.

Additionally, the RS-LDX Première can be software upgraded to the RS-LDX Elite, which can also be software upgraded to the RS-LDX WorldCam.

The RS-LDX video performance is unsurpassed and the cameras provide stunning images based upon three proven, custom-designed Xensium-FT 2/3-inch CMOS imagers. This makes artifact-free capture possible along with a significant improvement in sensitivity and dynamic range in all acquisition formats.

RS-LDX systems include a precision pan/tilt head with smooth variable operating speed. Heavy duty bearings and motors with isolation mounts provide steady and quiet operation. Smooth motion is accomplished using digital servo controls and gives a single operator powerful, yet natural control over camera and lens positioning as well as camera shading.

The robotics can be used with various digital full servo lens. Two hundred and fifty-five presets are available, memorizing pan, tilt, zoom, focus, televator, iris, and master pedestal. Thre is a control panel that works in a stand-alone configuration, or networked with a group of panels sharing a common enterprise database.Through its integrated touchscreen graphical user interface, the robotic operator can control camera shading, assign cameras and shows, and trim camera presets. These parameters can be assigned to a user-definable knob that enables rapid recall and adjustment of camera presets.

A touch screen application for studio control is also available that displays a visual presentation of sequential shots simultaneously timed for operator preview. The application interfaces to cameras, RS-LDX control panels, serial devices, and tally. Extensive preset capability can even be used in storyboard mode adjustable timing and transitions.
