Open Standards

An open standards approach, with products and solutions developed to support these standards and tested in real-world environments, is the best way to get there. Open standards are the key to protecting current investments and ensuring long-term interoperability.

The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) has been created to achieve this mandate and Grass Valley’s Mike Cronk is the organization’s Chairman of the Board. Founding members include Grass Valley, Imagine, Lawo, SAM and Nevion with other members being added regularly.
