Redefining Remote Production Through Cloud-Connected Workflows

How Broadcast Management Group is powering the next generation of managed broadcast services.

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a full-service production, consulting, and systems integration company that partners with broadcasters, corporations, and content creators to deliver highend live production and managed broadcast services. From its base in Washington, D.C., the company provides centralized control, master control, playout, and media asset management (MAM) through its private cloud infrastructure to deliver broadcast-grade production capabilities at enterprise scale.

At the heart of this operation is the company’s newly built network operations center (NOC) – BMG’s Cloud Control Center™ – a private cloud hub that connects clients, facilities, and crews across the United States. Powering it all is Grass Valley’s virtualized media production platform AMPP® — the operational heartbeat of BMG’s broadcast ecosystem.

A New Model for Centralized Production

The Washington NOC replaces BMG’s former Las Vegas facility and represents a fundamental shift in how the company designs, manages, and delivers productions; moving to a single, unified infrastructure that connects client studios, trucks, and control rooms through a centralized cloud environment.

Inside the facility, Grass Valley® K-Frame™ switchers anchor the control rooms, LDX® 135 cameras capture high-end imagery across BMG’s production fleet, and AMPP powers the company’s MAM, playout, and transmission workflows. The result is a production network that operates as a single, distributed system; one capable of supporting everything from daily corporate programming to large-scale live events.
