Grass Valley brings to its customers the strength of two industry leaders by entering into a Solutions Technology Integrator (STI) agreement with Cisco® Systems. The STI agreement allows Grass Valley to sell or license products and services from Cisco as part of Grass Valley solutions. As an STI partner, Grass Valley has established a strong relationship with Cisco to help guide the ongoing development of IP networking solutions for the broadcast and media markets. The initial stage of this agreement allows Grass Valley to integrate IP network switches into its solutions that are specifically designed for creating zero-drop, non-blocking multicast networks for media. The Cisco switches and networking components will be sold as a part of a larger Broadcast Data Center solution that specifically includes GV Node, GV Convergent, and/or Densité IPG.
