HD-SDI Input/Output and HDMI Output for EDIUS
Editors of broadcast-quality programs require a means to preview and evaluate their video and audio in the best quality possible. Users in a file-based, networked environment often don’t need to ingest baseband video or audio, but still want to preview projects at the same quality level as the final, delivered output. STORM Pro hardware provides the means to do this. When used in conjunction with EDIUS editing software (purchased separately), the PCI Express-based STORM Pro empowers you with a constantly synched, full-resolution preview of effects and content directly from the timeline.

Minimum System Requirements
CPU
Any Intel Core 2 or Core iX CPU. Intel or AMD single core CPU with a 3 GHz processor speed or faster (multiple CPUs and/or multi-core CPUs are recommended). SSSE3 (Supplementary SSE3) instruction set supported.
Memory
- 1 GB RAM minimum (4 GB or more recommended)
- Requirements for RAM and video memory vary depending on the project format. For SD/HD projects: 4 GB or more RAM recommended
Hard Disk
- 6 GB of hard disk space is required for EDIUS installation
- Drive with ATA100/7,200 RPM or faster is necessary for video storage:
- Available HDD disc space should be twice the size of the file to be edited
- RAID-0 is recommended for HD resolution editing
