Grass Valley to Demonstrate No. 1 Position in Content and Media Technology at NATEXPO 2018

MONTREAL, October 29, 2018 — Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will showcase a suite of market leading solutions at NATEXPO 2018 (October 31 — November 2, 2018, booth A52), leveraging the best innovation and expertise to give customers the ultimate in selection and service.

The featured solutions will include:

LDX 86N Series Cameras: The perfect solution for multiformat requirements — all from a single camera, the LDX 86N Series can manage any single speed HD, 3G and 4K (3840x2160p) format with or without HDR — as well as 3X HD/3G speed and 6X HD speed. Plus, the ability for any of the lower camera models in the series to be upgraded in the field with GV-eLicenses — on a 1-day, 7-day or perpetual basis — to any of the higher models.

Kula Production Switcher Family: Designed for the professional broadcast and AV markets, the Kula production switcher offers a powerful feature set in a compact system for easy installation and operation. It is available as a 1, 2 or 3 M/E switcher, with the capability of operating in SD, HD, 3G/1080p and 4K UHD, as well as a dedicated 1 M/E 12G-SDI version. It has a 2 RU frame and a choice of seven control panels, including a convenient 19-inch wide panel ideal for mobile and flyaway productions.

GV Korona K-Frame V-series Switcher: This new system has been designed for low- and mid-range broadcast and media applications, where compromising on performance is not an option. Available in three system packages, with 1, 2 or 3 M/Es and a complement of licenses for exceptional value and incredible power, its modular design enables a seamless transition from SDI to IP.

GV STRATUS Video Production and Content Management
: Version 6.5 delivers a suite of tools including simple editing via the GV STRATUS web client with access from anywhere on any supported device that captures content from a wide range of sources. GV STRATUS also places a premium on user generated content, integrating with popular social media and CMS platforms to manage, track and analyze the performance of social channels from within the application.

Kaleido-X Multiviewer: The Kaleido-X range of multiviewers offer the finest picture quality, unmatched display configuration flexibility and exceptional resilience. Ideal for applications demanding high picture counts per display and total non-blocking flexibility, Kaleido-X is available in two frames — up to 96 inputs and 8 multiviewer outputs (7 RU), or up to 32 inputs and 4 multiviewer outputs (4 RU). With its advanced metadata extraction, signal probing and alarming capabilities, Kaleido-X excels in master control and headend environments.
