For broadcasters, the value of a content archive depends as much on the metadata attached to each asset as the media itself. Journalists and producers rely on that information to search, identify, and reuse content quickly across fast-moving news workflows.
When NDTV set out to modernize its media asset management environment, preserving years of accumulated content and metadata became a key priority. Working with Grass Valley, the broadcaster migrated production and archive content from its existing GV STRATUS environment to the AMPP-powered Framelight X platform while maintaining uninterrupted newsroom operations.
